How to always show file extensions on Windows

Every file has a file extension that tells Windows what type of file that is. there are different types of files and different extensions for each file type, for example audio files usually have extensions like .mp3, .aac, .flac, .wma, .ogg, while image files usually have extensions like .jpg, .gif, .png, .webp, .avif.

By default, Windows hides those extensions, which is bad for security and user experience, for example you might have a file named manual using adobe pdf reader icon for a disguise while it’s actually a malware file and is .exe, without seeing the file extension, you can’t tell it’s a .exe file.
